Last weekend, GlobeMed at Georgetown had its First Annual Benefit Dinner with a panel of international health professionals including the founder of our partner organization Primeros Pasos, Dr. Brent Savoie. Dr. Myrtle McCulloch, assistant professor of nutrition in the School of Nursing and Health Studies, moderated the panel. Panelists included Kelly Hauser from the ONE Campaign, Roger Thurow (a ONE fellow and author of many books on nutrition and global aid), and Jennifer Rigg from 1,000 Days.
It was a wonderful evening of discussion and increased awareness about how nutrition affects different spheres of global health. See what the ONE Campaign had to say about the event and check out the pictures on our Facebook page!
